The wrath of hurricane Ida left its mark on this beloved Bucks County site. Please join us October 9th, by arrangement with the Owners for a return visit (previously I organized a group on short notice of 3 other photographers including DPC President Michael Tontoni, Program Speaker and Workshop leader John Barclay and photo friend and wonderful Photographer John Stritzinger) to continue the clean up project we started.
Work will consist of collecting branches and other organic debris that washed up and over the farm during the storm and either adding it to the burn pile or moving it to the compost pile. There is also river rock that was displaced and flowed onto the meadows and needs to be returned to the creek.
Bring work gloves and sturdy shoes and a bottle of water.
If you plan to attend please visit this Facebook Post and click “going” so we can tell the owners, Bruce & Leslie, how many to expect. Let’s do this and show our respect for this scenic photographic gift that keeps on giving!
A location address will be provided privately to those who do not know how to get there
